Red, green and blue are also the primary components of the spectrum, symbolizing unity in diversity, as well as light itself, and thus reason and enlightenment. The tricolor form also traditionally represents the republican values of liberty, equality and justice. The flag was sewn by Maggie Zubrin and brought aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery at the invitation of astronaut John Mace Grunsfeld. ...

When we first started writing tests, I developed a sort of existential test crisis: How can I ever know if my tests are right if I’m the one writing them? Is there a way to test my tests? & if so, do I need to test the tests that test my tests? Thankfully, I found my answers in this book. Reading “Everyday Rails: Testing with RSpec” by Aaron Sumner.

Find the folder you want to modify. CMD + I to open up the info window. Set this aside. Find the image you want to use. CMD + I to open up its info window. Click on the thumbnail then CMD + C to copy it. Go back to the first info window you opened. Click on that boring thumbnail. CMD + V to paste the new thumbnail image. PROTIP: this can work with any image. Transparent .png icons work the best. Bask in the glory of Nibbler waiting to gobble up your code. *Tested only in 10.6.8 because I’m old school like that.

Meanwhile, sites like Reddit, while having technology channels like r/programming, are well-known to support misogynistic clusters that attack women en masse during high-visibility incidents of sexism. ...

Day 8 at MakerSquare. Came across this image and it’s fairly representative of my learning experiences of the day, specifically the “No” and the choppiness. Back-end: Introduction to rspec and test-/build-driven design. Follow along with the code during the lecture, take notes, work through the lesson. All good. Sit down to write my own tests and, well, see above image. Front-end: More Javascript, specifically jQuery functions. Same story as the morning: follow along, take notes, work through the lesson, but sit down to do my own and …no. ...
