81 movies finished in 12021, 35 of them were re-viewings (not counted — any number of children’s films I could recite from memory in their entirety).
Some of that was comfort food, but others were for the missus:
“Haven’t seen all of Cronenberg’s work? Oh, we’re gonna have fun.” These were also for me, of course; so many wonderful details forgotten.
There were too many good movies in this list to call them out (eagle-eyed readers will note that I watched Wrath of Man twice),
but too many truly mediocre and forgettable ones. This year, I’ll have to do a better job of veering towards unforgettable, for
either good or bad reasons.
